Thank you for this blog. I sustained a neck injury four years ago that put my wandering, with a pack, at an end. Your photos and descriptions make me feel as if I am there.

Thank you both for the feedback. It makes me feel like it is a good idea for me to keep it up. Jodi, I understand what it's like to miss backpacking. I had an upper back problem that kept me from carrying a pack (or doing a lot of other things) for about 5 years. Fortunately I was able to finally resolve it and I have gradually begun to carry more weight in a pack and I am hoping to do my first overnight pack trip since 2000 this summer. I'll make it a point to talk about all that in the blog because I found an injury recovery path that might help some other people too.
